Live calls on Vovea connect you with language partners in real-time. You can join a scheduled call from your dashboard, and your Vovea AI (Vovi) will facilitate the conversation. In 1-on-1 calls, Vovi provides personalized support, translations, and feedback. In group calls, Vovi acts as a facilitator to keep the conversation flowing naturally and help multiple learners at once.

Vovi is your personal AI language assistant powered by advanced conversational AI. In 1-on-1 calls, Vovi is tuned specifically for you—learning your weak points, preferred topics, and learning pace. In group calls, Vovi serves as a universal facilitator, keeping the conversation moving, correcting mistakes gently, and ensuring everyone has a chance to speak.

1-on-1 calls pair you with a single language partner in a personalized learning session. Vovi tailors feedback and support to your specific level and goals. Group calls (up to 5 participants) offer a more dynamic, social learning experience. Participants are placed in breakout rooms by proficiency level, and Vovi facilitates the conversation while helping everyone improve together.

Our free tier gives you access to 3 live calls per month with full Vovi support. You can also browse the lesson library and track your progress. Premium subscribers enjoy unlimited calls, priority scheduling, advanced features like conversation recording and detailed analytics, and priority support from our team.

Yes! You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. There’s no long-term commitment or cancellation fee. If you cancel mid-month, your paid features remain active through the end of your billing cycle. You can always restart or upgrade your subscription later.

We currently support Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, and Korean. Each language has native speakers in our community and AI support tailored to that language’s grammar and pronunciation. We’re continuously adding new languages based on user demand.

Vovi learns from every interaction. Your 1-on-1 Vovi instance tracks your vocabulary, weak grammar areas, pronunciation challenges, and speaking speed. This data is used to personalize your calls, suggest relevant topics, and provide targeted feedback. You can review your progress anytime in your dashboard with detailed statistics.

Absolutely. Your data, including call recordings and transcripts, is encrypted and stored securely. We never sell your information. You control who can see your progress (other learners, partners, or just you). For details, please see our Privacy Policy. Only you and your designated language partners can access your call history.

Group lessons use breakout rooms to organize learners by proficiency level (beginner, intermediate, advanced). When you join a group call, you’re automatically placed with learners at a similar level to you. This ensures the conversation is neither too easy nor too challenging, and everyone gets the most out of the session. Vovi facilitates all breakout room conversations.
